It can tell by the VIN number where the vehicle was made, the manufacturer, what model and series it is, what year it is, what engine it has, and the build sequence number. This VIN decoder is programmed for Ford Mustang VIN decoding only, other vehicles will produce inaccurate info.

This decoder has limited function, all it does is decode the VIN characters with universal VIN deciphering. It does not connect to any General Motors database. Where do I find the VIN number on my Mustang?
